Youkoso Lilyvale Primary School!

During their stay, Lilyvale students lived with host families from Kalinda, joining our classrooms and immersing themselves in the day-to-day life of an Australian school.

Lilyvale Primary first visited Kalinda and Warranwood Primary School in 2017, marking the beginning of a meaningful cultural exchange that has strengthened our community’s global connections and social development.

Every second year, senior students from Kalinda and Warranwood have the opportunity to visit Japan as part of this ongoing partnership, continuing to build friendships and cultural understanding across borders. In 2026, senior Kalinda students will once again have the exciting opportunity to travel to Japan and take part in this enriching experience — a true cultural kōryū (交流), which means "exchange" or "interaction," especially between cultures or communities.
